Texas Hold’em Bonus is a less popular version of Ultimate Texas Hold’em. The player starts a hand by making an ante bet. There is an optional side bet. Some casinos have a progressive for a royal flush, too.
The player and dealer receive two cards. The player must play by raising the ante two times or fold. If the player continues, the flop of three cards is shown. The player must raise one times the ante or fold here. The turn is then dealt. The player must raise an amount equal to the ante or fold. A fifth card is then dealt in the center.

The player’s hand is then compared to the dealer’s hand, using five of the seven cards. If the dealer beats the player, the house takes all bets, except the bonus bet is still in play.
If the player beats the dealer, all bets pay even money, except the ante, which pushes in most cases. It wins even money if the player has a straight or higher. A tied hand pushes all bets, except the side bets, which are paid based on the hand’s strength, regardless of its outcome with the dealer.
